The Diary Game: Engaging in Indoor Activities (7/4/2026)

Hi guys. Somebody help o! I tell you I was locked up in prison yesterday by my wife. Hahahaha, you want to find out how I got there? My dear, metaphorically, my wife left my two kids with me throughout the day. I couldn't go out to do anything because I had to keep an eye on them till their mother returns. Omo, it wasn't easy. While indoor, I involved in a lot of activities that engaged my day. Stay with me and read my diary. Enjoy!.

It was my twins sister's wife who gave birth. My wife left to hospital where her sister was. The sister was heavy with pregnancy and had to go for check in the hospital. Fortunately, the doctor told her she would have to stay for delivery that yesterday. My wife was the only person available to be with her in the hospital till she put to birth. I was left alone with my children. I had to play the role of a mother and a father simultaneously. First, after waking up I swept the floor before I washed few clothes, including bed spread that were dirty.

After washing, I had to prepare some breakfast for my kids. I bathed them and allowed them to play a little bit outside the house, to enable me concentrate on other things at home. Playing a motherly role wasn't easy for me . I tell you.

While they were playing, I went to charge my phone at a nearby charging point. We haven't had electricity supply for months now. I keep paying money to charge my phone because of lack of power supply. I came back to read, preparing for interview that I would have the next day. It wasn't easy using one stone to kill two birds.

By 1pm, I needed to go to the market and get few stuff. I persuaded my kids with some snacks so they could allow me get to buys things for cooking evening meal. When I got to the nearby market, I didn't see the condiments I needed to prepare a local soup so I had to settle for preparing rice and beans. I came back and prepared it while my children watched me in the kitchen.

When I finished cooking, we were at the table. Of course, I properly fed them while I was on mine. At this time, I was exhausted and I needed rest. But first, I had to make them sleep before I could rest otherwise, they will disturb me. My lullaby finally lured them to sleep, naturally. With their sleep, I had an opportunity of writing my entry of a contest on steemit. Before my children could get up, I was already through.

When my wife returned by 8pm, it was already late. I couldn't do any other thing again. After a brief discussion with her, I went to relax with a movie my colleague gave me at work place. It was an interesting movie. This movie gradually took me to sleep.
