The Diary Game || 12-04-2026 || Sunday Diary - Skipped church, Did Chore, Cooked and Enjoyed Football Match ||

Hello gentlemen, women and ladies, Happy Sunday to you all
It’s @praizclassic1 once again, welcome to my diary game.

So today started on a different note… I didn’t go to church.
And please, don’t even ask me why, because the reason is honestly not even reasoning.

Last week I went late, this week I didn’t even show up at all… at this point, all I can just say is it is well with me.

The funny part is, I wasn’t even alone at home. I was with my bro, and normally I’m the one that drags him to church. So me not going today automatically meant he too didn’t go. Bad influence? Maybe.

Since we were home, I decided not to waste the whole day. It was my turn to clean, so I used the opportunity to wash the toilet and properly tidy up the house. I won’t lie, it wasn’t fun while doing it, but once I finished, everything just felt fresh and organized.

After all that work, I went to the kitchen to cook, stew wasn't made yesterday so for the first time in a long time, am not having Sunday rice so being at home Sunday morning, surely frying is the best option, twasn't something simple, I mean I had all the time, there was yam in the fridge, twas initially boiled, took it out, allow it to defroze, cut it in pieces and I fried them, fried fresh plantain and scrambled eggs too. You don't even need to guess about this one, because you already know, it's delicious and inviting.

You should try it if you haven't, it just has a different taste, that's sweet on another level.

After eating, I just laid down to rest because I was already tired from the cleaning. I thought I was going to sleep, but sleep didn’t come. Instead, I just found myself thinking… like deep thinking. Don't even know what brought up this but I think I should share it with everyone.

It were just different thoughts about life, people, growth… and somehow, lines just started forming in my head.
It made me reflect on the people we meet, we know and how people act and how we get treated by people around us, discovered sometimes it’s not even bad luck—people just show you who they really are. You give your time, your loyalty, your energy… and it’s not always returned the same way. And that realization hits differently.

But I’m learning to pay more attention now. Less excuses, more awareness. Choosing peace over forcing anything.
Funny enough, I later slept off, I guess I was just meant to have that cross my mind so I can share it here for someone to learn.

Later in the day, at 4:30pm it was football time.

The big match was Chelsea vs Manchester City, and as expected, it was a serious one. Arsenal fans were suddenly Chelsea fans today because they didn’t want Manchester City gaining points and getting closer to them on the table.

The game itself didn’t disappoint. Chelsea opened the scoring through Nico O'Reilly's header in the 51' min, and you could already see Arsenal fans fold, complain and curse like it was their team who just conceded. But City being City, they were not done, in the 57' mind just 6min after the first goal, Guehi scored with a 'no-look' pass from cherki. And then Doku cancelling all home of the Chelsea fans by making it 3 nil in the 68' min after a mistake from Caicedo. Personally I was happy with the result.

Football fans are funny though… today you’re supporting one club, tomorrow you’re back to dragging them again

And please, did you guys see that man that’s going viral? The one acting like he was drinking “Arsenal tears” from a small plastic bottle. That video had me laughing, people are too creative abeg.

The day ended with me balling with my bro, played PES, it started well, I won 3times in a row. After which I drew some and lost some, such is life and the game of football, you can't win every single time.

All in all, today was calm but productive. Didn’t go to church, but did house chores, cooked, watched football, and had time to just think and reset mentally.

Sometimes you need days like this.
