The most difficult moment in my life was the first day I went to Delta State, specifically to a place called Ugele in Delta State. It was my first time visiting the state, where I left Calabar, Delta State for work. I arrived at the state late which was towards evening with my luggage that I felt tired of carrying.

The person who was to come and pick me up had stopped connecting and I was confused, and stranded without knowing what to do. I asked people around to help me, but no one was giving me a helping hand. I tried my best until around night that the person who was to pick me up reached out to me which was too late because I was already somewhere that I had told him we would both see the next day.

How did you survive that moment? Tell us what you did or did not do

I survived that moment by lodging in a guest house which was the only option that was left for me to do to secure my safety. I searched for a cheaper and more affordable lodge in the town and found a guest house and lodge until the next day. If not for the guest house where I stayed until the next morning, I would have been robbed of my personal belongings. I did what a stranded traveller would have done.

What is your advice for anyone going through a difficult time right now?

Generally, as I write people are going through a lot which my advice for anyone going through a difficult time right now is for the person to exercise patience, stay calm, and then think very well so you can re-strategize yourself very well. Have funds and spend wisely and don't engage yourself in something that will put you in trouble.
