What's something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did?

Life is a lesson and I have learned not to give up on my dreams or whatever that I want to achieve in life. The something that happened to me that I felt impossible to get through but did was when I was looking for admission around 2018. I got admission to the University of Calabar around that year into Medical Laboratory Science but unfortunately, as I went to do my clearance I was denied admission after playing school fees, accommodation, department dues, and spending a lot of money.

I felt like committing suicide that year. I was pressureles to do something nasty and I felt like I would never make it again or that school was not my calling. I didn't give up I sat for another JAMB the next year wrote the exam and passed very well which I was given admission to study radiography which today I am a satisfied radiologist working in one of the best hospitals in Port Harcourt.

How has this tough time changed what you value most?

This tough time changed how I see things, reason and take people seriously. I started distancing myself from people and began doing things on my own without seeking the advice of others and this helped me a lot because it was as if people were after my life. What I value the most is securing a better future for myself becoming who I wanted to become.

What's a small win you've had recently that felt huge?

The small win that I've had recently that felt huge is the award for the best staff of the year in my place of work and department. Last year the management of the hospital where I am working decided to reward hardworking and active staffs which I was nominated as the best in my own department and I was given a gift.

What's a new perspective you've gained on life or yourself?

Well, I am still in the process of gaining a new perspective on life. Soon I will become a master's degree holder which I am seeing as a big win and achievement in life. This is going to improve my level and status in life.

Is it really true that "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"? Why?

Yes ooh, it is true that "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Why? A perfect example is me because my burdens, suffering, and challenges didn't kill me but instead it makes me stronger to be able to face any challenges in life. As it is like this there's nothing that can make me cry in life because I have seen a lot.
