Watch a film inspired by real-life stories or people. Example films: Hidden Figures, The Pursuit of Happyness, Hotel Rwanda, Erin Brockovich
I have seen the movie Moonlight. Moonlight is a movie that portrays the life of marginalized people in a very subtle, soft yet profound way. It is not just a story but a man's silent struggle against identity, loneliness, racism, poverty, gender identity and the harsh realities of society. The film is divided into three chapters Little, Chiron, and Black. Each chapter shows different experiences of the same character at different ages. The film depicts life in an underprivileged, poverty-stricken black community in the United States where children grow up amidst violence, drug dealing, family breakdown and the struggle to survive. The title character, Chiron, is constantly bullied,Because he is not like normal boys.

Did the movie make you more curious about the real-life story?
A lot of similarities can be found in our real life with this movie. Because this movie is a realistic movie. Our society has some similarities with this movie.Chiron's silence, loneliness, bullying, identity crisis are all portrayed in a way that feels like it's not just a movie,There are literally thousands of children who grow up going through the same experience.A man like Juan who is a drug dealer but a source of light in a child's life creates a curiosity to know if a real person exists.
Story of Moonlight by Tarell Alvin McCraney Taken from his own life experience. After knowing this information, every moment of the film seems more meaningful. This is what makes the audience want to know more. And the movies that attract the audience are mostly realistic movies.
Which scene or moment felt the most powerful or emotional?
Moonlight worked for me in a number of places emotionally, one of them being the adult Chiron when years later Kevin He sits in front of it and rests his head on his shoulder.Throughout his life, Chiron has acted tough. Bullying, poverty, his mother's drug addiction, the strictures of society everything has broken him from the inside. But Kevin Sitting in front of it, he removes all the hard masks. Even without making eye contact, his body language shows that he is breaking down in front of someone like himself for the first time.
Chiron has never found anyone in his life to whom he can freely express himself. Returning to Kevin means there isn't much dialogue in this scene. Eyes, breath, facial expressions, and soft lighting all combine to create a deeply emotional atmosphere. The beauty of Moonlight isn't the words.Silence speaks the loudest.Final release of years of suppressed feelings.
How did it make you feel about the people or time period it represented?
Moonlight made me think deeply There are many people in this world whose lives are silent suffering, suppression, bullying,Caught between identity crisis and harsh reality of society. The film made me more empathetic and aware of those people.During the period the film covers (the 80s–90s to the 2000s), many black neighborhoods in America were mired in poverty, violence, and drug addiction. It shows how uneven a child's start to life can be. Some people on earth are fighting for survival from birth.
Guys like Chiron who speak very little, are full of feelings inside They are always misunderstood in the society.Moonlight made me think How many people live day after day hiding their true feelings.Paula (Chiron's mother) is a drug addict, but somewhere along the way she is also a victim of a broken society. It reminded me of thousands of broken families back then Where children find their identity and love alone.
Thank you everyone 💓
