Week 1: "First-Time Feels"

Objective of First-Time Feels

The objective for the topic first time feels is to Celebrate filmmakers’ first big hits and how they introduced their voice to the world.

There are many producers and firm makers in the movie world struggling to shine. Some of them are good, having good movies but this movies are not well known or recognized.

Making movies are not always easy, it takes lots of work, energy, resources and time from writing the script to getting the actors together.

In life, career and other spheres of life every one wishes to be successful. And there was one particular thing done that made the first big hit. For instance, I remember when I began to shine as a student in high school, I remember my first gift presented to me by my school for been outstanding.

Therefore this week, we want to celebrate the first big hit of these firm makers. We want you to tell their stories through your entries, maybe one day they will get to read from you.

Task for the week

• Watch a directorial debut or a breakout film.
  Example films: Get Out (Jordan Peele), Lady Bird (Greta Gerwig), District 9 (Neill Blomkamp)

• What stood out most about the director’s style or storytelling?

• Did the film feel polished or raw? How did that impact your experience?

• Would you watch more movies by this director? Why or why not?

• What message or theme did you take away from the movie?

• Your entry will be evaluated and rated out of 10, based on the emotional impact, quality and presentation, thoughts and the creativity of your storyline. Note that results can not be contested and decisions are final!

• The Title of your submission should be "SC-S28/W1-Movie Highlights|First-Time Feels (add name of the movie)

• Post your entry in steem4nigeria community or on your blog.

• Submit your entry link under this post.

• Tags to be used: #mschallenge-s28w1 among the first three tags, #steemexclusive #movies #creativewriting, and your country.

• The minimum word count should be 500 words.

• Invite 3 active friends to participate and drop the link to your post in the comments of this post.

• Promote on social networks like X and add the link under your post

• This contest will be open for 7 days starting at Monday 00:00 UTC, it will close at 11:59pm UTC every Sunday.
