Time they say is expensive and I agree!!

Why do you think time is considered more valuable than money?

Money is good no doubt. With money you can do a lot of things and solve a lot of problems but time is considered more valuable than money.

Some one sang a song saying time is money. Time is regarded as a nonrenewable resource. Time wasted may not be gotten back, this is one of the reasons why money is seen as more valuable than money.

Also, of you loose any money, no matter how much it may be, if that same person is given time and he insists, he will get that money back and even more. So the bed rock of money is time.

No wonder in advanced countries such as UK, canada and the rest, people are paid per time for the job done. This simply shows that with time you can make money.

Money is a renewable resource while time is not. This is why they always tell people use your time wisely. When there is time, money can be made.

I try so hard not to waste my time on things rather I try to maximize time.

Last month I was to handle a project and I was really behind schedule or deadline. Aside the project I had other personal activities to handle on a daily basis that demands my time and attention.

I didn't know what to do. Then an idea dropped, while don't you use your night hours to work on the project. If you can stay up at night to do curation as a community Curator why can't you spare out sometime and do this. After much thinking I decided to go on with it.

I utilized my night hours working on this project. I took out three to 5 nights nights working on it while at day time I do other personal things. It was really hectic but I had to discipline myself to get it done. Instead of sleeping I was working.

After 5 days I was done with the project and I met the deadline. I was able to do that because I decided to maximize my time.

One lesson I leant from this is that with the right discipline everything you want to achieve is possible!

What are some ways people can manage their time better in daily life?

Time management is very important in our day to day living. There are many ways to manage ones time.

• Have daily Routine

Having a daily routine is one ways to manage time. You can write down your daily routine and paste them somewhere you can easily see. Allocating a time frame for each of the things you want to do for the day.

• Set alarm for each task you want to achieve

Setting alarms can help a great deal. For instance if you want to read a book by 12pm that day you can set alarm for it with the inscription "it's time to read your book". The alarm serves as a reminder that this or that is what you should be doing by so and so time.

• Have a culture of waking up early

This should have been the first. When you wake up early, you start your day on time with a better energy. Sometimes when you wake up late, you already feel like you have wasted so much time . So starting up on time is time management.

• Spend less time on social media

Social media is one of the ways the time of people are eaten up. You can only spend time there if that's what gives you income but if not, move away from there because it's a killer

• Discipline

With discipline time management is possible. If everyone can form a habit of discipline then there are things that will no longer be a topic. Discipline is key.

If you could go back in time to change one decision in your life, what would it be and why?

This is a deep question. For privacy sake I don't think I will be able to express freely my opinion on this question. But I will try.

Learning to say no has been a huge challenge for me, although now am gradually getting it right saying no but back then it was worse.

If I could go back to time to change one decision, I think it would be sticking to what I really want and not the opinion of others.

Rather than saying yes just to make people feel good and see me as a lovely person, I would choice to say No and stick to it no matter what comes afterwards.

Because at the end of the day we all live with the decisions we have made either good or bad.
