How I Made This Carton-Color Silver Lit Design Blouse with Wrap-Around Wrapper
Hello Dear friends, Greetings to all of you. I'm here to tell you a step-by-step guide on how I was able to achieve this outfit. Making this carton-color silver lit design blouse with a wrap-around wrapper.
It was a fulfilling experience that truly reflected my passion for tailoring. I enjoy starting my work from the very beginning, and this outfit allowed me to carefully plan each stage, from measurements to cutting and finishing.
After selecting the fabric, I prepared my basic tailoring tools: my tape rule, ruler, chalk, scissors, and sewing machine. With my tape rule, I took accurate body measurements, including the bust, waist, shoulder, sleeve length, and full length. I believe that neat and well-fitted outfits begin with correct measurements, so I took my time to ensure everything was properly recorded.
Once the measurements were ready, I spread the carton-colored silver-lit fabric neatly on a flat surface. Using my ruler and chalk, I carefully marked out the blouse pattern directly on the fabric. I made sure the silver-lit design was well aligned so it would appear balanced and attractive on the finished blouse. After marking, I started the cutting process. I cut slowly along the chalk lines to avoid mistakes, especially because this fabric easily shows cutting errors.
After cutting the blouse pieces, I moved on to the wrap-around wrapper. Using the same tape rule and ruler, I measured and marked the length and width of the wrapper to ensure it would wrap comfortably around the body. I cut the wrapper neatly and set the pieces aside for sewing.
The sewing stage followed next. I joined the front and back pieces of the blouse, stitched the shoulder lines, and attached the sleeves carefully. The neckline was neatly finished to enhance the beauty of the silver-lit design. For the wrap-around wrapper, I stitched the edges neatly and added a strong tie to keep it secure when worn.
The final stage was finishing. I over locked all the raw edges, trimmed loose threads, and pressed the blouse and wrapper properly to give them a clean and professional look. Final fittings were done to ensure comfort and a perfect fit.
Completing this carton-color silver knit blouse with a wrap-around wrapper brought me great joy. From measuring and cutting with my tape, chalk, and ruler to the final finishing, this outfit reflects my dedication, creativity, and love for tailoring.
