JAMB season is here again

The 2026 JAMB season is finally here and a lot have been happening since the first day the exam officially started which was the 16th day of April, 2026 and I think the exam is almost over. I heard the board wants reschedule candidates that missed their exam due to a very important reason. This occurs several times and I'm not surprised.

There have been some complaints concerning the exam and this complaints often comes every year. I heard some JAMB centers lack facilities for the exam exercise. There's lack of power supply in some centers and this isn't proper at all. Some centers even have poor network which made it difficult for candidates to login and begin their exam.

Some will login and automatically get logged out. This isn't nice at all. I have heard several stories this year. There was a particular center in Nigeria that had a very poor network connection and this distracted the candidates in that center several times because when they start the exam the network will begin to malfunction and each time it comes back to normal the candidates tried their best to use their time wisely so that they successfully finish their exam before something worst happens.

Someone from this particular center said there's was a particular candidate that had a very tough time in the exam hall that moment. She said each time the guy answers one question his computer will switch off and on again. I really felt bad when I heard this because that's a very bad experience. I just hope the guy answered his questions completely and successfully submitted.

There was a particular center that didn't write any exam for one whole day saying there's no power supply so why was that center allowed for this exam when they weren't even ready at all. How can you say there's no generator in the center or no money to purchase enough fuel for that day. This country is so disorganized, the candidates that came for the exam with someone that accompanied some of them there, wasted money for transportation cost that day and that's very painful.

I heard they will be rescheduled to another center for the exam. My country Nigeria really has lots of problems to solve before things escalate more and more. Before the exam started last week I already knew stories like this will come up and they spread very fast because bloggers often have alot of post in a season like this because of the way the country is, they do have more negative news than positive news somethings concerning the exam. I will stop here for today.
