Mid November - Mid December

The just concluded stressful period

For some weeks I haven't been very active in steemit and the reason for this is because of school. I titled this post Mid November - Mid December because I resumed school at the middle of November and we started our holiday at the middle of December. In the space of this one month period I have been very busy.

Before now I have planned to be active in steemit even if I get to the university but things changed in the space of one month because I was still trying to adapt to the new stage of my life I found myself which was being a university student after graduating from high school more than 2 years ago.

The name of my school is Rivers State University and it is a school that is located here in Port-harcourt. The school is very far from my home as it takes 1 hour 20 minutes plus for me to get to school from home every week, Monday-Friday. There are times I trek some distance before entering a bus and sometimes after coming down from the bus I boarded back home.

I did this to reduce transportation cost since I don't have much money with me. I try my best to leave the house very early so that I don't get to the 8am lecture late and miss something important. Some days we do finish lectures for the day on time while some days we don't. I have met different people in school and most of them are nice, I associate with few of them as well.

I have also come across some of my classmates especially my juniors in high school, in the university. I interacted with few of them when I saw them and it was nice to see them once again. The university is a very big school filled with thousands of students and numerous lecturers as well as non-academic staff.

I haven't gotten used to this pattern of schooling experience that's why I haven't been active but I have promised myself to be very active in this small break we have been given by the school authorities due to Christmas and New year celebrations. Ofcourse is important for me to also study a lot this holiday so that I won't overwork myself studying once test and exam starts next year. Above all, I thank God for finally giving me the opportunity to be a student once again.
