A shop where people leave their sadness behind
Assalam o alaikum.
One day while walking alone on a quiet street i saw a small and beautiful shop.It was different from all other shops because its name was written in soft glowing letters: “Leave Your Sadness Behind.” I felt curious and slowly stepped inside. The shop was warm and peaceful.Soft light filled the room and there were many glass jars placed neatly on wooden shelves. Each jar had a label like “pain ” “fear” “loneliness” and“regret.”An old woman stood behind the counter with a kind smile on her face. She welcomed me gently and said “You can leave anything here that is hurting your heart.”I was surprised and asked her how it worked. She told me that people come to this shop to give away their sadness. They take a jar whisper their pain into it and close the lid. Once the jar is sealed their sadness becomes lighter.
I saw a young man standings in a corner. He looked tired and sad. Slowly he picked up a jar closed his eyes and spokes softly. After a few moments he placed the jar on the shelfs. When he turned arounds his face looked calmed and peaceful. It felt like a heavy weights had been lifted from his heart.I decided to trys it too.I picked up a small jar and thought about my worries my fears and the moments that made me feels sad.I whispered everything into the jar and closed it tightly. At that moment i felts somethings changed inside me. My heart felt lighter and i could breathes more easily.
Before leaving i asked the old woman what happens to all these jars. She smiled and said “We don’t destroy them. We keep them safe as reminders that pain is part of life but it does not have to stay forever.” Her words touchd my heart deeply. As i steped out of the shop the world looked brighters. The air felt freshs and i felt a sense of peace insides me.I realized that sometimes we just needs a place to let go of our sadness.
This magical shops may not exist in real life but its messages is very real.We all carry pain inside us but we should not let it control our lives. We should share our feelings let go of our worries and move forward with hope.I believe that happiness begins when we learn to leave our sadness behind.
