 | Singara |
In our country, there are many types of street food available on the roadside. Some street foods are more in demand by people, some street foods are less in demand. However, if I am asked which street food I like to eat, then I will immediately say about singara. This street food has been my favorite since childhood, when I was in school, my mother used to give me money for tiffin and I used to buy singara during tiffin. I have a lot of memories of my school with this, it is not just a street food, it is my emotion.
Today I have chosen the Indian chaat recipe to give an international look to my country's street food singara. Today I will make another new dish using singara, which is called Singara Chaat. It is a salty and spicy dish, I hope everyone will like this new recipe of mine.
| List of Required Materials: |
| Ingredients Name | Quantity |
| Singara | 2pis |
| Fuska | 5pis |
| Chanachur | 3 teaspoon |
| Ghugni | Half cup |
| Boiled egg chopped | 1pis |
| Tomato chopped | Half pis |
| Onion chopped | 1pis |
| Maggie masala | Half teaspoon |
| Lemon juice | Half teaspoon |
To make singara chaat, first we will need singara, so I took two singaras and broke them into pieces. Then I will put ghugni in the broken singaras.
Now I will add chopped onion in it, then chopped tomato. Now I will add chanchur, then break a few fuska and add them in it.
Now I will add chopped eggs and a little Maggi masala. Then I will add a little lemon juice to it as the last ingredient, now I will mix everything well with a spoon. Then the delicious singara chaat will be ready.
Now I took the singara chaat in a bowl and served it as per my taste. Here I have graded the boiled egg on top of the singara chaat for serving to make it look beautiful.
| Which country or culture inspired your combination? Give a clear explanation about your inspiration.
Today I have made a new street food with a popular street food of my country. The name of today's street food I have made is singara chaat, it is a delicious spicy food. Today's food I have made is a combination of a food from our neighboring country, India. Almost everyone in Kolkata, India likes to eat delicious spicy food for breakfast. Among some of their street foods, different types of chaat recipes are very popular, so today I have made the singara chaat recipe with a combination of street food from India and Bangladesh. I have tried to share the entire recipe of singara chaat with you step by step, I don't know how much I have been able to explain.
| What new flavor, or presentation did you create?
Yes of course, I have beautifully described our country's street food Singara in this recipe. In our country, Singara is usually eaten with tomato sauce or salad, but I tried to bring a new taste to it.
To bring a new taste to my new dish made with Singara, I have used fuska, chanachur, boiled egg, ghugni, chopped onion, tomato, Maggi masala and lemon juice. This has created a different taste in it, I think this mixture has taken my dish to the international level. And it was also quite delicious to eat, those who like to eat delicious food will definitely like it.
| How do you think people would react if this food was sold on the street? Explain!
Since like the people of Kolkata, the people of our country also like to eat delicious spicy food, accordingly, if this food was sold on the street, there would be a good demand for it. Everything used in making this dish is delicious, after mixing them together, its taste has increased and it feels good to eat. Also, since such food was never popular in Bangladesh before, they would have been more interested in this dish, they would have wanted to know how it would be like to eat this dish?
So I think if this dish was sold on the streets in our country, people would have been quite attracted to it.☺️
