Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 114: A Day in my Life -(2025)

Salam friends! Trust you are fine. Friends, life is not bed of roses. We face different situations in life. Some days are bad and some are food. I am going to share some moments of life. So be with me.

◉Briefly tell us how your 2025 has been so far.

My 2025 is little mixed year for me. Some days I feel very good and life looks normal. But some days hit me very hard. I try to stay calm but inside I feel many thoughts running. I spent time with my family and that gave me little peace but still some moments were heavy on my heart. Sometimes I sit alone and think how fast time is going and how much I changed inside without even knowing. This year also teach me to be thankful for small things. Even small smile or small talk from someone feels special. 2025 is not perfect for me, but still I am moving with hope. I believe good days are coming ahead, slowly slowly.

◉Would you say the year was worth it? Tell us.

When I think about this year, I feel it was still worth something. The days were not easy but they teach me many things. Some moments were hurtful, I felt totally broken inside but still I learned how strong I can be. This year also show me who really stand with me and who only appear when I need badly.I got more close to myself also, like I started understanding my own feelings better. So yes, even if the year was tough, it was worth it because it made me grow little more. Sometimes life gives pain first and lesson later and I think this year did same with me.

◉Share your most remarkable day in 2025 with us either positive or negative.

The most unforgettable day of my 2025 was the day I saw a bad road accident in front of me. I was riding my bike and suddenly everything happen so fast that my mind almost stop. A man lost his life on the road. People ran there, shouting, calling others. I was standing near the place so police also came and they took me by mistake. I am very short heart person. My hands were shaking with fear. My heart beating very fast. I saying I am not involved I only saw it. But Police did not listen my words. Those minutes were like hours for me. I was very scare and confused. Later, when people told police I was only crossing the road then police free me. Still those moments are in my mind. I could not sleep that night. It was my first time I felt very close life and death .

◉What was/were your lesson[s] about the day you have shared above?

That day teach me many things. I understood how one second can change everything forever. A person who was breathing few seconds ago was gone right there. It made me realize how small and weak human life is. I also learned patience because when police caught me by mistake, I wanted to argue but I stayed calm. Sometimes you have to trust that truth will come out itself. Now I am more careful on road and I value every small moment. We never know what can happen next in life.

◉Is there anything you would have changed about that day or was it just alright? Tell us.

Yes, if I have any power, I would change that whole day. First thing, I wish the accident never happened. I wish that man stayed alive and reached home safely. Nobody deserve to leave world like that. I also wish I was not standing near that place because that fear is still inside me. I wish police did not take me like that because those minutes were very stressful. I want to rewrite that day.

I want it to be a normal morning, no accident, no panic, no sadness. But life do not listen. So I only pray for that man and try to move forward slowly.
