Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 120: What I Will Do Differently This Year.

Every year come with new hope and new lessons. My last year was not easy. I made different mistakes and learned from them. Now this new year has start. I want to reflect on my past, improve myself and try to do better than before.

◉1.Were there things you felt you didn't do well in the previous year and how did it affect you?

Yes there were many things I feel I did not do well last year. I planned different thing but I did not complete them on time. Mostly I was not regular in my work and writing. Sometimes I was lazy and sometimes I lost motivation. This affected me a lot inside. I feel sad when I think about wasted time. I know I could do better but I did not push myself. When I see others growing, I feel little regret. It also affected my confidence and mood. But deep inside this feeling made me think seriously about my life. It teach me that time once gone never come back again.

◉2.What were the limiting factors or the cause of the poor outcome? Do you know better now?

The biggest limiting factor was my habits. I was failed to manage my time properly. I spent time on useless things and delayed important work. Another reason was fear, fear of failing and fear of not doing well. Because of this fear, I sometimes did not start task. Also low steem price made me feel less motivated. Now I understand better. I know that waiting for perfect time is wrong. I learned that small effort daily is better than nothing. Now I know success needs patience, not excuses. I am still learning but I feel more aware than before.

◉3.Is there a need for you to do those things again better this year or you now consider them irrelevant.

Yes, I feel strong need to do those things again and do them better. Those goals are not irrelevant at all. These are still important for my future. I think last year was practice and learning time. This year I want to correct my mistakes. I do not want to repeat same lazy routine again. I will be more serious and discipline. If progress of mine is slow I will not stop. Doing things again with better mindset is necessary for growth. I believe failure does not mean end, it means lesson. This year I want to act, not only plan and dream.

◉4.How do you feel about the new year, generally.

I feel very hopeful about this new year. 2026 feel like a fresh start for my life. I feel little scared too but more excited than afraid. I want to change myself step by step. I am not expecting big success quickly. I only want to be consistent and honest with my work. This new year gives me chance to fix my mistakes. I feel more good now because life teach me lesson last year.

My believe is if I will focused and never give up then this year can be better. I want to trust myself more and keep moving forward slowly slowly.
