Good day steemit community and platform, here is a baautiful story that will make your day read and enjoy.

There were two good neighbours living together; one had no child, while the other had three kids. One day, it was raining, and the first daughter of Mrs. Akon came out and stood in front of Mrs. Inemesit's balcony, bathing and splashing water all over her tiled veranda. When the rain stopped, the second child came out with a ripe banana. While he was eating, the eldest child came and called him to take a view of the soldier in Mrs. Inemesit's veranda, which he did without hesitation. In the process, he left the banana peel in the veranda.

While the last daughter was putting oil in the food she was cooking, she saw a fat bird with a gray colour and a mixture of other colours standing on top of the banana peel, so she ran out of the kitchen to have a clearer view with the oil bottle in her hand. While trying to hold the bird, the oil bottle fell from her hand and poured onto the veranda. As she was trying to get something to clean the oil, she smelled the pot burning, so she ran back to continue cooking.

A few minutes later, Mrs. Inemesit came out to sit on her veranda; she saw the mess and thanked God she did not step on it. She quietly went out to call their mother and make a complaint. After the complaint, Mrs. Akon summoned her three kids and asked them the reasons for their actions. The first daughter blamed the rain for falling, the second child blamed the first daughter for calling him to see soldiers, and so on and so forth. Mrs. Akon wanted to give them the beating of their life, but Mrs. Inemesit pleaded on their behalf.

Three days after the incident, Mrs. Inemesit got pregnant and gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.

Moral lessons:

  1. Actions have consequences.
  2. Blame doesn't solve problems.
  3. Kindness and forgiveness go a long way.
  4. Responsibility is key.
