THE DIARY GAME 4, December 2025 "MY FIRST DAY IN COLLEGE: A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTION "

Dear diary,

Today is my first day in college. This is one of the biggest moments I've always dreamed about. I wanted to make a video, but it was impromptu, so I kept that for another day. I promise you that next time I'll give you a video.

I woke up this morning to realize I was going to school. I didn't prepare for that, but it just came unexpectedly. We were asked to dress in white and black, which I did. On reaching the school, the first thing I did was take a picture of my student . I saw students eating and drinking; some were on TikTok, while others were chatting. I was like, "Wow, what's going on here?" About 30 minutes later, the D.O.C and other lecturers came in to address us.

We started by introducing ourselves. The introduction went smoothly until a guy stood up to say his name was Iyak Akwa; we all laughed out loud. After the introduction, we were given the do's and don'ts. Surprisingly, it was as if I was just starting my first year in high school. To me, I think I can manage 60 percent of it, but I deeply care about my mates, 'cause their heads aren't here. The school environment was manageable. Oh, dear, I can't lie to you, the vibe, it's not giving at all.

After the orientation, I decided to stroll outside and take a look at the school environment, only to see a lecturer calling a student out. The student refused to answer, so the lecturer said, "Do you know who I am? I'm talking to you; you're walking away." On hearing this, the student came back, and she told her not to bring that color hair to school anymore. Immediately the lecturer was out of sight, she said grossly, "I hate this school; it gives me goosebumps." Someone replied somewhere. you'll have to hate it for the next 4 years."
And I smiled to myself and said, "This is the beginning of a new journey."

Don't talk about our order of arrangement, oo, 'cause we are... called freshers.
