SLC-S29/W5-‘‘Thinking and Ideas!| Ideas That Failed (and Why)!’’
Hello dear all friends and steemians! Hope you all are doing well and happy. I'm also happy and doing my work very well and perfectly. Today I'm here with you with a new post to complete the contest assigned by Mam @ninapenda. Hope you all friends and steemians will read and show your appreciation on my post.
One of the failures that I had was making a decision to make a total change in my routine and wake up every morning at 5.00 a.m. I was also following the example of such successful leaders as Tim Cook and I thought that I could be more productive when I will wake up early. I had a rigid morning routine of exercising, reading and dedicated work time.
Nevertheless, I did not change my bedtime, and I got easily tired and dropped concentration at day. I had fallen behind on essential activities and slept excessively after seven days. I understood that radical change without a clear strategy is difficult to maintain and slow change is far more effective.
Why do you think it failed?
My initial plan was to be more productive and disciplined and wake up earlier in the day. I thought that I could be more efficient in time management and do more before the day had come by simply following the patterns of other successful leaders such as Tim Cook.
It did not work out due to my attempt to bring a radical change without proper preparation. I did not change my sleep pattern slowly so I felt sleepy and un-concentrated thus the routine was not long-term.
Given a second opportunity, I would not change at once but rather ensure that I change progressively and not obligate myself to rise at 5: 30 a.m. at once. I would also change my wake up time earlier by 15-20 minutes every week and ensure that I sleep earlier so that I can get ample sleep.
Another aspect that I would work on is consistency instead of imitating the routine of people such as Tim Cook. Rather than focusing on a radical change, I would develop a realistic routine that suits my natural levels of energy and lifestyle.
Now I would like to invite my friends @sualeha @sadaf02 @taniya0 @faisalamin and @rauja to participate in this contest.
Best Regards
@steemsial

Your post is simple but very realistic, because often we try to make big changes in our life without preparation after watching the routines of successful personalities and then end up exhausted and apathetic. The decision to get up at 5am wasn't bad, but it's really hard to make a sudden change without changing your sleep routine, and you honestly admit that a steady and gradual change is more effective. The best thing is that you learned from your failure and made a realistic plan for the future, because real success is not in imitating others, but in moving forward by understanding yourself.

Hi @steemsial, welcome to thinking and ideas week 5
It requires self awareness, focus, and dedication to get to manage your time effectively. Even with planning, you can still fail but when the right things are in place, it's easier.
