If I Rule...and If I Love

I also want to use this medium to thank @ninapenda for organizing this contest. Let's get to hear my opinion and contribution to this contest.

If you were given the opportunity to rule your country, what are the top three changes you would make to improve people’s lives?

‎If I were given the opportunity to rule my country, I would focus on three key areas that directly affect the daily lives of ordinary citizens.
‎
‎1. Tackle insecurity decisively
‎I would address insecurity by applying every available strategy and approach. No citizen can thrive when they live in fear. I would strengthen community policing, invest in intelligence gathering, properly equip security agencies, and ensure accountability at all levels. The goal is simple: make streets, farms, highways, and homes safe again so people can work, travel, and sleep in peace.

‎2. Fully support agriculture
‎I would encourage agriculture to the fullest, including both animal husbandry and crop cultivation. Food security is national security. This means subsidizing inputs like fertilizers and seedlings, providing low-interest loans to farmers, improving rural roads for transport, and investing in storage facilities to reduce post-harvest losses. A country that feeds itself is a country that controls its future.

‎3. Regulate prices of imported goods
‎I would regulate the price of imported items so the masses can afford basic goods. I would review and remove excessive importation taxes that discourage trade and make everyday items unaffordable. Affordable imports, combined with strong local production, create balance and ease the burden on households.

‎These three changes, security, food, and affordability. That would restore hope and improve living standards for everyone.

What is one major issue affecting your country today, and how would your leadership approach solve it effectively?

‎
‎Insecurity. I repeat, insecurity. This is the major problem facing my country as a nation right now. It is our number one challenge, affecting every aspect of daily life, from farming and trade to education and travel.
‎
‎The only way to deal with this problem is through a combination of expert advice, technological advancement, and strong political will. Under my leadership, I would consult security specialists, military strategists, and local community leaders to design solutions that fit our unique challenges. I would invest heavily in modern technology: surveillance drones, satellite monitoring, forensic labs, and secure communication systems that give our forces the advantage.

‎I would not hesitate to seek assistance from international partners. I would borrow technology and scientific expertise to strengthen our fight against terrorists, bandits, hoodlums, and kidnappers. Through coordinated intelligence sharing and joint training, we would close the gaps these criminals exploit.
‎
‎My administration would make it a priority to dismantle every criminal network and restore peace to our towns, villages, and highways. I would do everything possible to win the war against terrorism, because no nation can develop when its people live in fear. Security is the foundation for progress, and I would treat it as such.

As a wife or husband, what values and actions would you bring into your marriage to build a peaceful and supportive home?

‎Your ability to enter a long term, loving relationship is an important measure of your character and personality.
‎Men and women are born halves that makes up one whole.
‎
‎A happy marriage requires tremendous self-discipline and selfcontrol. Love requires self-denial and sacrifice. When you're truly in love with another person, that person's happiness and wellbeing become more important than your own.
‎
‎In the christian Bible, in a letter to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul says, "Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envied not; love avengeth not, is not puffed up.
‎"Love doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not his own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
‎"Love rejoice not in iniquity, but rejoice in truth;
‎"Love beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Love never fails."

‎So in my case here are things I will do to make myself a supportive partner.
‎1. I will be a good listener.
‎2. I I will commit totally.
‎3. I will be teachable., willing to change for some reason. There are only four ways that you can change your life. First, you can do more of some things. Second, you can do less of other things. Third, you can start doing something that you have never done before. And fourth, you can stop doing certain things altogether.
‎That how you can improve your marriage.

How do you think good leadership at home (as a spouse) can influence better leadership in society?

‎
‎I believe the best way to answer this is with a question: How can you handle or control a large group of people if you cannot manage a relationship with one person properly?
‎
‎The way you treat your spouse reveals a lot about your ability to manage the affairs of a village, town, or nation. Marriage teaches patience, listening, compromise, and responsibility, the same qualities every good leader needs. If you cannot show empathy, resolve conflict, or keep promises at home, it will be difficult to do so on a larger scale.
‎
‎Every skill you learn in your relationship with your spouse goes a long way in preparing you for leadership in society at large. Communication, trust-building, accountability, and self-control are first tested in the home. In that sense, your home is your first leadership training ground. It is where you discover who you truly are as a leader, because character at home reflects character in public.
‎
