Hello steemians and fellow members of steem4nigeria community, greetings to everyone. I'm here to share my views on this topic for this week. I want to thank @steem4nigeria for organizing this wonderful contest. this will give me the opportunity to express all that was kept inside of me concerning this topic. I love this topic. I just hope you enjoy reading my contribution.
Do you believe that Books contains information that can change your life? If yes or No, back up your answer with valid points
I strongly believe with all my heart that books contain information that can not only change our life, but it can constantly improve the way we reason. I'm an eclectic reader. I try as much as I can to read almost everyday. I will list some of the valid points and benefits I had gotten through reading.

- Reading has expand my intellectual horizon. I have known things that were supposed to remain a secret to me if I didn't constantly pick up books to update my brain.
- Reading has exposed me to other people's culture around the world. Books has helped me achieved such feat without stepping my feet in those places. That means reading has helped me travel to where I couldn't without having plenty of money and other resources.
- Reading has expanded my vocabulary building. When discussing with other people, seeing movies and reading I take notes of new words and I later check their meanings so that I can always know what they literally mean when I stumble on them again.
- Reading makes me intelligent. I can have a contribution in a conversation with confidence. I can't stop reading. Reading is like building muscles. I keep building the muscles of my brain.
- Reading has improved my writing skills here in steemit and other platforms that demands knowledge contribution. It has sharpened my writing skills and enhanced my creativity abilities.
- Look, I can write a whole book on the benefits of reading. I know for sure that reading can help us improve in everything. It is very important that we should take our reading habit very serious.
Have you ever succeeded in completely reading a book you picked up at any point in your life... If yes, what we're some of the lesson learnt, if No, what was your challenge
Yes, once I pick up a book I can't stop reading it until I'm done with it. However, that doesn't mean I would want to finish reading everything in just a sitting. I can probably take days or weeks to finish it.
Everytime I finished reading a book I feel fulfilled.
I can't state one by one how I feel each time I finish reading new information. However, I know it's a always a big gain for me. I have really learned a lot.
If you are given an opportunity to recommend a book(s) that has blessed or benefited you what book would that be?
I have personally read so many books that I have lost count of so many of them. I can't vividly recall all the books I could recommend to anyone who's ready to increase their intellectual property. Though I will try and list a few.

- If you want to learn about the difference between how a woman and man reasons, then read "MEN ARE FROM MARS WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS". By John Gray. This book really helped improved my relationship with the opposite gender.
- If you want to improve in your business and personal life I will advise you to read "NO EXCUSES" by Brain Tracy. This book remains one of my favorites book because I have read it over and over again. It has changed my habits in my personal life.
- If you want to have a general knowledge about your character, habits and behaviors, then I recommend you read "WHY YOU ACT THE WAY YOU DO" By Tim Lahaye.
It really talks about temperaments and how it influence our overall lifestyle.
- If you want to learn about how money works and how you can make money works for you instead of you stressing yourself throughout your entire life, then I think you should read " RICH DAD POOR DAD" By Robert Kiyosaki. This book really changed my perspective towards the rich and the poor and why they got themselves in their situation.
- Have you been having difficulties in understanding women, then read "WHAT WOMEN WANTS MEN TO KNOW" By Barbara De Angelis.
I could cope with all my ex girlfriends after I gathered plenty knowledge from reading this book. The writer took her time to analyze everything you apparently need to know about women.
- Do you feel like getting closer to the creator of the universe and everything in it, then don't hesitate to read "HOLY BIBLE" AKA THE SCRIPTURE.
As a christian and a political scientist this books are full of principle and guide that can help you have the right stand with God and abide to his laws.
- I have never stayed a month without searching for a book to read just to improve my brain muscles. Currently I'm reading "ATOMIC HABITS" By James Clear. I have read pass almost half of the book. I have learned that changing or developing a new habit requires tiny repeatation which will eventually lead to remarkable results in the long run. People think when you want to change your life, you need to think big, however, James Clear has discovered another way. He says real change comes from compound effect of hundred of small decisions.
Ever since I left school I have gotten myself so many books than when I was in school. I want to say a big Thank you to my elder sibling Ephraim Inyang. He's the man who taught me how to read books.
I like to use this opportunity to invite my friends to participate in the contest.
