Steem4Nigeriaccelerator Contest Week 126: My experience with daily contribution collectors (DCCs)
Hello steemians and fellow members of steem4nigeria community welcome to my blog, greetings to everyone. I'm here to share my views on this topic for this week. I want to thank @steem4nigeria for organizing this wonderful contest. this will give me the opportunity to express all that was kept inside of me concerning this topic. I love this topic. I just hope you enjoy reading my contribution.

Do you know Daily contribution collectors? What is your experience with them?
It was years ago when I was a POS agent in my street. I can recall everything like it was yesterday. I really appreciate everything that man did for.
Here is my story. When I started my POS business I was still naive. However, the lady who asked me to share her shop for my business was a very kindhearted lady. She's in this platform. I was the one who introduced her to steemit. Her username is @glodick.
She was my greatest source of motivation. Telling me what to do to enhance my business. I use to save my daily interest in piggy bank at home. She didn't know that because I never told her. She saw my spending, so she thought I was not saving at all. Then she decided to introduce me to one man who goes about taking money from people and keeping it for them until they need it back. I won't lie, that was my first experience of saving my money with daily contribution collectors (DCCS)
It was a great thing for me because it was a new experience for me. I had never done that before. I welcomed the idea embraced it and joined her. She was selling provisions while I was doing POS.
The experience was commendable. I really love what I was doing.

How long have you been with them? Can you recommend people to them?
I can recall that I did it with this man for a year. It was a wonderful experience. He has been a trustworthy fellow. A lot of people from my street who were doing daily business were saving with him. I wasn't afraid of any mishaps because someone introduced me to him. She was also saving with him.
Though I have forgotten his venture name. He goes around Ikpa road axis and Urua Ekpa. A at then I was living in Udo Usanga street, off Urua Ekpa and Ikpa road.

Do you think every business owner should join daily contribution collectors?
It's a matter of choice though. However, if you're not well disciplined in savings then I recommend you try using DCCS. But if you can train yourself to save daily without someone asking for you to do so, then you can save your money in piggy bank or you open a savings account for your business.

If the collector dies, will you forfeit your money or ask the relative to pay you, hence there's no written agreement?
This question is so tough. This is one of the disadvantage of using DCCS. Look, let be honest. We didn't even know any relative of this whom we were banking with. There was formal agreement. We just trusted him with our money just because of the testimonies we got from other people who were also banking with him.
Of along the line something of that nature occured then I will definitely search for his address and meet with his family members to get back my money. I would use my marking card as an evidence. I believe this will help me in getting back my money.

Summary
Now I have learned something today. I know I was taking a great risk in saving my money with DCCS. That was so bad. I never thought the DCCS agent could die at anytime. I didn't carry that on my mind. Whenever I want to start a new business I will do the savings all by myself. I'm well disciplined when it comes to saving money.
I want to say a very big thank you to the organizer of this contest.
