Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 120: What I Will Do Differently This Year

Were there things you felt you didn't do well in the previous year and how did it affect you?
• What didn’t go well last year, I often delayed tasks alot, which led to stress and rushed work, Sometimes, I didn’t ask for help when I needed a serious it, I was thinking I could handle everything alone, this made some projects harder than they needed to be.

• Poor time management made me feel overwhelmed and a lot stressful, missing deadlines or doing work last minute lowered the quality of my result, not asking for help also made me feel isolated, like I was carrying too much weight alone.
What was the limiting factors or the cause of the poor outcome? Do you know better now?

• The main issue was poor planning, I didn’t break tasks into smaller steps or set clear deadlines, I also feared bothering others, so I avoided asking for support, now, I realize teamwork and planning are key to doing better.

Yes I’ve learned that planning ahead and using tools (like calendars or to-do lists) can save time, i also understand that asking for help isn’t weakness it’s smart, everyone needs support sometimes.

Is there a need for you to do those things again better this year or you now consider them irrelevant.

•Absolutely, time management and teamwork are still important, this year, I will prioritize planning, set smaller goals, and communicate more openly, these skills will help me grow very well.
• Are Some Things Now Irrelevant?
A few habits, like overworking without breaks, are no longer useful, I’ve learned that rest is just as important as work, I will also focus on balance instead of pushing myself too hard.

• I’m hopeful that last year’s lessons taught me a lot, now, I am very happy to apply what I have learned last year, this new year feels like a fresh start, a chance to improve and enjoy the process.

In conclusion
The mistakes i made from last year which was 2025 became lessons to me fit this for this year, i will focus on progress, not perfection, and welcome 2026 with a clearer plan and a positive mindset.
