Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 145: The weather and I
Hello my dear Steemians,
*We live in Europe, it is summer season in Europe at the moment. Summer can be different, sometimes we have nice warm days and sun but the other time we may not be very lucky and have rain, clouds and cool weather.
The weather this day and today over here is cloudy, but the temperature is around +20 to +23C. Today, the weather forecast did not predict any rain and I am glad that it is a case. I know that rain is good for the plants and flowers but also due to summer we love to spend time outside, for walking riding bikes and just visiting friends and being on fresh air. Today it is not really nice to be outside, but it is very good weather for working in garden. Of course, on weekend we do not really like to work but to enjoy our rest, the hope is that tomorrow on Sunday it will be more sun.*
Since summer time luckily I did not have much trouble. Understandably, because of sunny warm days but also some rains, it is the best condition for plants, on other side the problem that we face is that weed is growing very quickly. We have nice young flowers that we planted early this year but now every three weeks we have to pull out weed to keep our flower beds clean.
During this season, in summer it is important to make sure that you do all necessary stuff around the house, for example, to plant some flowers on terrace to do some decoration so that it is nice to sit there and enjoy the time in fresh air. We also often paint our timber on our terrace, this is the protective paint for timber to prevent it from moisture and for dry air.
Also, we plant some vegetables in early spring and during summer time like now we have to keep the plants watering, because it is easily can be dry if there are few hot days. We also cut the lawn to make sure that also not weed or moos destroying our lawn. Also we trim the bushes and trees to keep them in form and not to overgrow the whole garden.
Majority of my time in summer I spend in my garden and do garden work.
I think if there is any problem like flooding in Akwaibom state, it is responsibility of everyone to work together and help each other to prevent the problem. Often we human do not think about the small stuff and throwing garbage in drainage pipes and do not care about what it will cause. The governmental structure should also pay attention to preventive measurement like cleaning ditches, collect garbage from streets. We need regular cleaning of streets and emptying the garbage bins. People should inform the governmental structure if there any problems noticed in time.
