Jasmine flowers and fertilizer

NPK bags are always the first resort for a green plant. It's done in all of our compounds. If there’s jasmine at your entrance, you might want to stop buying all that fertilizer. Chances are, the soil around your home has everything it needs to support it through the year. You only apply supplements when the soil is terrible or sandy, like the beach.

So take all the dried leaves and cut grass from around your compound. Rather than setting them on fire or putting them in a dumpster, dump them around your jasmine. The mulch does all the work for you. It sits in the sun and the rain and decomposes slowly, releasing all its goodness into the soil. Roots have nothing but time, they don’t require salt from a chemical bottle.

We also forget that the plants take care of themselves in nature. If your jasmine is still green and fragrant, the soil is working just fine. Too many supplements can lead to weak growth which encourages pests.

Then you’ll be looking for chemical insecticides. You created a problem because you were trying to be helpful. Just mulch around your jasmine and allow the leaves to compost into the soil. The fragrance will always be there without you having to pay a dime or cedi extra for fertilizer. I’m sure some of you will disagree, but the plants always know how to nourish themselves from the compost.

Instead of automatically buying chemical fertilizers (NPK) for plants like jasmine, first observe if the plant is healthy. If it is, the soil is likely sufficient. Use free, natural resources recycle dried leaves and grass clippings as mulch around the plant. This decomposes slowly, enriching the soil organically and creating a sustainable loop system.

Yes exactly this is a very smart way to go about it
