Farm management is the method used by the farmers to organize, planning and controlling the affairs of the farm in order to gain more profit at end of the day, farm management play a crucial role in the farm setting because it allow farmers to make decisions which involves the type of crops to grow or livestock to raise for human consumption as well as process the famers would under go through in marketing their products so that it can reach final consumers at the right time.
Farm management address the challenge that small farmers may face which invlove uses of chemical to kill the insect from attacking our crops. The farm we are talking about are normally operated by individuals or large commercial famers.
What is the importance of farm management?
➡️ It helps the farmers to identify risk that involves in the farm such as price fluctuation in the open market, address unforseen expenses and climate related problem.
➡️ Farm management ensure that farmers make good decision for sustainability as well as created friendly environment for the safety of the workers and the livestock that involves.
➡️ Organizing, planning and investment in new technology would serve as profitable agribusiness and these can be achieve through proper record keeping.
➡️ Lastly, it also help the farmers to select the best crops to plant in order to increase farm production in the local market so that food can be available for all.
