Explain in detail all you know about the term "Agriculture"

Agriculture is the process of cultivating soil, planting, as well as harvesting crops when it is time that has reached maturity stage. Rearing of livestock is part of agriculture because we can use livestock to produce other products. Agriculture enables people to have surplus food in the house; that's why most people in rural areas choose agriculture as their major occupation to earn a livelihood as well as to boost their economic development.

In today's world, many farmers still practice traditional farming because they see it as an effective strategy for healthy food, where hoes and cutlasses are used to control the weeds. Cow manure is used instead of chemicals to grow their plants, which contributes to environmental damage, although adopting technology in the farm process reduces stress because pesticides help us to control weeds as well as to kill some insects.

For these purpose I would like to state 3 type of agricultural

• Subsistence farming: is the method where it mainly practices to feed their family and the remainings are stored elsewhere.

• Industry agriculture: is the practice of using large machinery, pesticides, and fertilizers to apply in order to increase productivity.

• Commercial agriculture: is a type of agriculture where large-scale farming is practiced, involving crops and livestock grown for the purpose of making a profit.

What is the importance of Agriculture?

➡️Agriculture provides employment opportunities for youths, especially for millions of people in rural areas, to support themselves and their families.

➡️Agriculture provides raw material inputs, where cotton is used to produce textiles, timber for construction, and so on. All these are necessary in order to make our lives easier.

➡️Agriculture also reduces poverty by helping people in rural communities to escape poverty and improve their livelihoods, enabling people to be financially independent.

➡️Plants are used to produce medicine that we generally use to cure different ailments, which affect our healthy lifestyle on a daily basis.
