The stubborn fowl and the smart dog. Mr. Bala is a farmer and someone who likes taking good care of animals. He likes keeping domestic animals at home, and as a farmer,r he likes taking some of his dogs with him to the farm and leaving some behind to secure his home.
Mr. Bala has only two sons who usually follow him to the farm. During harvest season, he harvested a lot of maize, egusi, and other farm products from his farmland and took them home for proper sunning and storage.
Every day, Mr. Bala would bring out his harvested maize and egusi for proper sunning and ask one of his dogs to watch over what he dried in the sun. Fowl often go and eat from what is dried in the sun, and the dog kept warning the fowl to stop, but they tried to be too smart.
The dog kept quiet and strategized a means to stop them from eating the corns and egusi that are sun outside. One day, as the fowl were busy eating, the dog came from nowhere and caught him by the feather and ran into the bush.
