SLC-S31/W6-“Creative Interpretation| The Concept -Becoming”

Becoming is about reaching the final point, which in my interpretation you will get to know better. It's a slow transformation from uncertainty into purpose. In my final piece, I show a figure that is standing in better darkness and light, one growing stronger and the other which is fading away with rising birds at the side which are growing.

In this artwork that is presented, I present it as a symbol of growth through struggles because we all struggle in life to achieve success which in the art there is a young lady who shows that a person can never finish struggling until death, but will keep on facing and experiencing failures and victories.

This implies that becoming is like getting to the end of the journey after making several attempts. It is a stage of getting maturity and becoming stronger after experiencing failures.

What transformation is taking place in your interpretation?

When you look through the image you will notice that it is a spiritual and emotional transformation that is taking place in my interpretation.

Everything starts with fears, doubts, and limitations, but changes gradually into more self-awareness and confidence. This implies that the part which is broken was not hidden, instead their become part of the strength that shape the new identity. This transformation simply reflects how challenges and pain can contribute to our personal development.

What challenges appear during this process?

A lot of challenges appear during this process. Looking at my piece you will see that there is loneliness, societal pressure, fear of failure, and internal battle of disbelief, and several other challenges. The dark part of the piece is a representation of setbacks and confusion while the other part which is designed with flowers is a representation of perseverance and hope.

How does your piece connect to your personal growth or vision?

My piece connects deeply to my personal growth and vision because life itself is a journey of becoming. In life, every challenge that we face teaches us something valuable and pushes us closer to the person we want to become.

As for my vision, it connects to my continued growth with wisdom, determination, and courage irrespective of obstacles. Finally, the artwork is a reminder that transformation takes time to grow.
