Mr. Taiya is a well-known farmer and hunter in his community. In his community, he has won numerous farming and hunting awards. He has three wives and many children, and he is a lover of animals.
As a hunter and farmer, Mr. Taiya has four heavy dogs in his house. One day is always at home protecting his environment, whereas the other three dogs are guard dogs that he usually takes for farming and hunting. The dogs are so brutal in such a way that people are scared of them.
As harvest season is fast approaching, Mr. Taiya has prepared his yams and storage in his farmland, where he plans to store his yams and other yam products before taking them home after he has finished harvesting.
During his first harvest, he stored some tubers of yams in his yam bam and went home out of tiredness. The next day, when he went to his farm, he noticed someone was stealing from his yams, so he decided to act as if he wasn't aware of what was happening in his farmland.
On a certain evening, Mr. Taiya went to his farm with his brutal dogs. As he got to his farmland, he hid and released his dogs into his yam bam, which, as the dogs went, helped Mr. Taiya catch the person who had been stealing from him. When the thief tried to run the dogs ran after him and started barking till Mr. Taiya arrived.
The story tells the importance of having a dog which serves as a security to us. Having a pet like dogs is important.
