Movie"The Pursuit of Happyness"

Dear Diary,*

I might have talked about "The Pursuit of Happyness" before and still be talking about it. Well, the reason is that the movie is interesting and I like watching it, which I recently watched again. This movie has really changed the way that I look at life as a whole.

Each time I watched the movie or reflected on the struggle of Gardner, who wasn't only poor but also struggled with a broken relationship and a lot of life challenges while he was constantly trying to build a better future for himself and his little son, it reminded me that the life of a man isn't an easy life where I should be joking about money.

Before I came across the movie, I did think that success was all about someone having opportunities, money, or people who can help me when I am in need. But as I watched the movie, I then realised that success is one of the most difficult things to achieve because it requires determination, patience, sacrifice, and the courage and ability to continue even when everything is not going well for me.

Also, the movie changed how I view people and relationships. By watching the movie, I have come to learn and understand that it is not everyone will remain with me during hard times; some people will abandon me, some will disappoint me, and some will pretend as if they never knew me before. The movie taught me that despite all of these, I should never give up on my dream, goal, and what the future has for me. At least the relationship between Chris and his son makes me realize the importance of genuine love, the responsibility of a father, and how I can stand for those who depend on me.

Just recently, when I watched the movie again, I saw failure in a different way. Right now, I am viewing failure as a means of testing someone, making someone get stronger, wiser, and avoid future mistakes, rather than as the end of one trying to achieve success. The truth is that failure is part of life's journey, in which we can either succeed or fail and try again.

Based on recommending the movie to others, yes, I would definitely recommend it to others because it is an interesting movie that teaches a lot, and I cannot be the only one to benefit from it. And because I can recommend the movie to anyone is the reason why I have written about the movie, because I want people, especially men, to learn about the valuable lessons about relationships, perseverance, success, and life as a whole.

Thank you for your time here, and see you next time. Stay safe and remain blessed all the time.
