Animal Activities #54

Hello, my fellow Steemians, it's my first time writing in this community, and I am so excited to be participating in this contest organised by @xkool24

I will be talking about an animal who behaves like a human, which is a parrot. I used to work at a place where they had a parrot as a pet, his name was Rico.

That was my first time seeing a parrot as a pet. I used to hear about people having parrots as their pets but had never seen people who have them as pets around me, maybe because it's not always common.

My boss adores Rico a lot, just like her own son, and I love him also, but he can be stubborn sometimes.

Rico was so loyal to my boss, and I think all parrots are like that. He speaks like a human; it was so surprising to me the day I heard him speak.

I was so shocked, how on earth can a small bird like this speak?
I used to hear about parrots speaking nonstop and gossiping, but I thought it was just a mere myth until I heard it myself.

Rico can say anything as long as he hears you say it. He loves attention and cuddles, especially kisses 😂, just like a human. He enjoys that a lot because my boss is always around pampering him like her child.

Rico loves her too because he calls her name almost every minute. He was like our alarm clock in the house whenever he wakes up in the morning, my boss's name will be the first thing he calls, and his noise will wake everybody up in the house. It's funny and so annoying sometimes.

Rico was so smart and playful and could be aggressive whenever he saw strangers or unfamiliar faces around him.
I think most animals do that once they see strangers around them, they act protective.

Sadly, I didn't really bond with him before I left the job, so I didn't really have more pictures and videos of him, and I miss him so much. He was truly a special bird.
