Some don't like cucumbers but it's good for you
Cucumbers are mainly made up of water. The sources vary after I checked but the claim is that they’re about 95 percent water. I fact checked this once and questioned how accurate that figure really was. Regardless, they contain a lot of water. When you eat them, you’re really hydrating your system without realizing it. This is important during the summer months or in my country, dry season with the sun out and hot. The heat dehydrates you. You sweat, you walk and a few minutes out you would be dehydrated.

Sometimes when the mid afternoon stretches out dry and endless, I reach for water, but I still feel empty. Occasionally, a few slices of cucumber is good for me, or maybe it’s just the placebo effect because I eat them at least twice a week. Some people don't like it but I actually do.
Cucumbers are low in calories. You can take large quantities without feeling full. I once ate an entire bowl of cucumber slices with a meal, expecting to feel bloated. Nothing much happened to me, I was little surprised by this. It fills you up without giving you too much calories.
The skin has some fiber. Not much though but just enough. I realized this the hard way when I used to peel all the skin off my cucumbers because I believed the skins were dirty and not good. My stomach let me know otherwise. I started leaving the skins intact most of the time.

Cucumbers are low maintenance, you don’t have to cook them, you don’t have to prepare them. You just wash, slice and ready to eat. I once accidentally added cucumber to my rice thinking it was green pepper. It wasn’t great and it didn’t ruin my lunch.
They have some good minor nutrients. You get Vitamin K, a little vitamin C, some potassium. I really like that because I know I'm regularly eating healthy.
