What exactly is integrated farming?

When ducks go out and walk around the rice field, they not only go on their own, but they go to eat the insects or the pest that normally would eat the rice at its root before it can even get the chance to grow to harvest season. Sometimes I have seen some of the ducks swimming in their own space in the same location where there are fishes.

There is no need to add any fertilizer to the soil because the ducks and the fish create fertilizer by pooping on it when they are swimming or moving through it. There is still a possibility that some young plants may get stomped on by the ducks when they are playing. It happens more often than you might even imagine it.

One practice o think the farmers must stop is always searching for one type of plant to fix each and every one of their financial hardships. It is an even much better solution to combine a variety of crops. When you have water moving throughout your rice crop, the rice will be taller and have better aeration. Managing the timing of each crop during the rotation is definitely not as simple as I'll say it.

If you put the fish in too soon, they will not survive because of the temperature not being conducive. I'm still learning about on how deep someone will need to have the water to allow for the big ducks. Most of the time, weeds are not given a chance to grow at all.
