A movie that changed my perspective on life

Assalamu Alaikum friends. I hope everyone is well. How are you all? I hope everyone is healthy and well by the grace of God. I am also well. But today I have come to share some of my feelings with you on a slightly different topic.

I am really happy to participate in this wonderful competition of the sixth and final week of Steemit Challenge Season 33. This week's topic seems a little more special to me than the other weeks. Because this time we will not just talk about a movie, but we will have to talk about a movie that has changed our perspective on thinking, life, relationships or success.

We watch many movies for entertainment. Some movies make us laugh, some make us cry, and some movies make us remember the story for a while after watching them. But there are very few movies that continue to play in our heads even after they are over and force us to think anew about our lives.

One such movie for me is Good Will Hunting.

The day I saw the movie

To be honest, when I first watched the movie, I didn't think it would have that much of an impact on my thinking. I started watching it like a normal movie. But as the story progressed, my interest in the main character, Will Hunting, grew.

Will is a very talented young man. He has an extraordinary talent in mathematics. Many people cannot achieve such talent even after trying their whole lives. But the surprising thing is that despite having so much talent, he was not able to take his life in the right direction.

• This is where the movie made me think for the first time.

• I asked myself - can a person be successful in life if he has a lot of talent?

• After watching the movie, I realized that it is not always the case.
  

You cannot be successful just by having talent

I used to think that talent, hard work, and opportunity were all that was needed to succeed in life. But Will's story made me realize that a person's inner fears, lack of confidence, and past experiences can also greatly affect their future.

Although Will was very intelligent, he had built an invisible wall around himself. He didn't trust anyone easily. When other people tried to approach him, he would push them away.

Then I realized that we often become our own biggest obstacles.

Sometimes the fear of failure stops us. Sometimes people's words reduce our confidence. Sometimes past events control our future decisions.

You should think before judging people

This movie also taught me to think about people in a new way.

We often judge a person by their behavior. If someone is angry, we think they are a bad person, if someone is quiet, we think they are arrogant, and if someone doesn't want to mingle with people, we think they are strange.

*But do we ever think if there is a reason behind their behavior? *

Will's story made me realize that behind a person's outward behavior, there can be many stories that we never know.

A person may be smiling, but inside they are hiding a lot of pain.

Maybe someone keeps away from people because they have been hurt many times in the past.

This realization has made me more cautious about judging other people.

The value of relationships

Another thing about the movie touched me deeply—how important the presence of a good person can be in a person's life.

A man named Sean comes into Will's life, who doesn't just see him for his talent. Rather, he tries to understand the person inside Will.

He doesn't just want to teach Will how to be successful. Rather, he helps him face his fears, pain, and past.

From here, I realized that in life, we don't always need someone to give us advice. Sometimes, just someone who listens to us without judging us and believes in us is enough.

My idea of success has changed

Before watching this movie, I used to associate success with money, a good job, a good position, and various achievements in life.

But the movie taught me to ask a new question.

If I achieve a lot in life, but do not have peace in my own life, then how much is that success worth?

Is success only in money or career?

I think not.

Success is not only fulfilling your dreams, but also understanding the value of your people, learning from your mistakes, overcoming your fears, and becoming a better person.

After the movie

After finishing the movie, I did not start any other work right away. I sat quietly for a while and thought about my life.

I thought about how many opportunities there are in life that I may not have taken just because of fear. How many times have I doubted myself. And how many people have I judged by their behavior, without knowing their life stories.

That day, I understood one thing very well—our past can affect us, but the past does not have the right to completely control our future.

• We may have mistakes.

• We may have fears.

• We may have weaknesses.

• But there is still a chance to move forward.

• Would I recommend the movie to others?

• Of course I would.

Especially for those who are disappointed in life for some reason, are hesitant about their future, are holding back due to fear of failure, or feel that they have no other chance in life—I would recommend them to watch this movie.

To me, Good Will Hunting is not just a story of a talented young man. It is a story of fighting with oneself, a story of leaving the past behind, a story of understanding the value of love and faith, and a story of recognizing one's potential.

This movie taught me that a person's talent can set him apart from others, but his mental strength and determination ultimately determine where he will take him.

Finally, I would like to say that some movies entertain us for a few hours. Some movies make us laugh or cry. But some movies leave us with a question, and in order to find the answer to that question, we start looking at our lives in a new way.

Good Will Hunting is just that kind of movie for me.

After watching this movie, I not only saw the story of Will Hunting, but also tried to look at my own life with a new set of eyes.

And perhaps this is the greatest success of a movie—if its story lives on in our thoughts even after the movie is over.
