Mistake, a stepping stone to success!

I have come to realize that life without any mistake is just a life filled with errors. What is mistake to start with?

Mistake is act of being wrong about something. It can come in form wrong advise, making wrong decisions or even taking wrong steps. There are mistakes that causes people their entire life and that ends it all.

There was this family that had a little daughter of 5, the dad works and the mom stays at home with her daily but the mom is always busy with her phones and other stuffs online. This little girl came home from school one day and demanded her food but her mom told her to go into the kitchen and get her food.

She walked into the kitchen and instead of carrying her food, she taught it would be nice to make some noodles for mom since she has been working all day.

This little girl proceeded to where the noodles were and took some packs, poured them into the pot and reached out for the lighter to on the cylinder, as she turned on the the lighter, the house caught up with fire and the little girl died at the spot. The sound was so loud that the mom ran out at that sound to find her baby dead and her house on fire. This simple mistake cost her a lot.

Normally, mistakes are bound to happen, but the after match is the main thing. What do we learn from that mistake? If no lesson is learnt, than it's still gonna reoccur until a lesson is learnt.

There were costly mistakes I made in this life that I regret even till today, but I learned so much from that mistake and sometimes I want to return the hands of time but it's too late and I have learned my lessons, but it still pains me that it happened.

Life cannot be balanced without mistakes that is what I have come to understand. When we make certain mistakes, it opens our eyes to see clearly, understand better and take the right actions. Just like in school, when we fail a question, we can only learn it through corrections.

There are people who says they have never made mistakes in life, but that's a lie because no one and I repeat, no one lives this life without undergoing one mistake or the other either in marriage, business, relationships, spiritual life etc...

I wanted to get the opinion of people when I hosted the challenge “thinking and ideas”. It was a deliberate act to know if anyone would say I have never made a mistake in life, but reading all the entries, I saw simple mistakes, serious mistakes and all of them served as a lesson that has helped them arrive or still getting to their destination.

Mistakes are bound to happen, mistake is like failing or falling in life. Now, do you remain on the ground when you fall or fail? No, you rise up, dust yourself and move on. Mistake teaches us to do it right the second and third time.

I hope you don't feel bad when mistakes occurs, rather take the bull by the horn and strike.
