Animal Activities #74: spider and a fly
Hello my dear Steemians,
There are many animals and insects around us, we often see those that are big in sizes, both domestic and wild and often we admire them and love them. On other hand there are also live in any other sizes, small ones are insects that often we have at home even sometimes when we do not see them like for example spiders.
When I was a child I saw these wonderful structural stuff like spider webs, often we see them in old barns, on attic and also in basement. I think many art of spiders love cool, dark places and also there where nobody. Human when they are passing by they may destroy spider webs and that might be a reason why spiders prefer hide from human eye.
I believe that everyone when seeing such spider web floating in air would not be able to resist a wish to touch the web, but once you touch it you feel a bit of strange and sometimes disgusting feeling, that is why people do not like to touch it any more.
There are also some of the spiders who we can see in garden they usually make webs on plants and if any flies of bees, wasps while flying do not notice the web and get caught in the web. This is very interesting moment to watch it. Normally spider sits somewhere quiet and not moving, once there is any other insect is trapped in web, then the vibration of web gives a signal to spider that will rush to the prey and then will wrap it into its sticky thread. Initially the prey will try to get out of web but often it is not successful fight and the insect has no chances to break free.
When I find spiders in my house I do not like to kill them but I just bring them outside in garden and let them go to find new home.
