Transplanting

Today I wanted to talk about another method popular in agriculture called Transplanting. I actually did not think much about the meaning and only today while thinking about the word I discovered that I do often Transplanting too, even though I do not have a big garden and just a small front yard.

Usually in spring I love visiting garden shops and often even some supermarket’s like Lidl here in UK, has many plants in a little pots. They are already grown a bit and strong enough to be able to be replanted in garden.

The most popular plant here is Lavender. There are few reasons why I usually choose it, simply because bees and bumble-bees love this plant and Lavender has many little flowers. The plant love sun and grow easily without water for weeks. So much sun or shadow little amount of water and it grows very quickly but also it comes every year. Usually you do not need to do anything for the plant.

The other plant that I love to buy and transplanting is Tomato, I prefer cherry tomatoes, they also grow quickly and have no problem when you buy them in supermarket shops or garden shop and once they are strong enough sometimes early spring you just replant in your garden. The only one thing tomatoes love sun and water, but be careful, not too much water.

While in garden tomato plants are also favourite for snails that is why make sure you visiting your plants at least once a day and checking if there is any invasion of snail, then you should do something earlier.

If you are looking after your plants well then by the end of summer or early autumn you will be rewarded with nice and juicy fruits of your work. Hope you also found something new for you and will try transplanting too.

I am inviting following users for contest: @rumanaafroz, @monz122, @uzma4882
