Contest Alert | Animal Activities #56: Mouse and cheese

When I think about animals around us then I always recall that funny story and it was when I was little and probably because I watched many cartoons and also stories about mouse. When you think about mouse what you can imagine. For me it is a little animal which is very cute maybe because they are tiny and have big eyes. Of course in our old house we did not have such cute little fellow but it was no matter for me in my imagination it was like that almost like from the cartoon that I loved.
Actually I remember when my mother was cleaning our house and moved sofa away from the wall she noticed a little hole in the wall, she immediately said that we have mouse there. I was excited and wanted to have a mouse as a pet but mother was furious. She explained that such rodent can transmit diseases and they are infectious disease some of them may kill people.
I then decided at least to see how the little mouse is looking like. I knew from my books and cartoon that mice eat cheese so I decided to catch it with the piece of cheese. I put little piece in front of the hole and then sat down for hours watching the hole. But there was no motions, I was then bored and left to play. When I came in the evening the piece of cheese gone and I did not see the mouse. I then went back to kitchen took another piece of cheese and also put it in front of the hole. Later that day when my father saw me sitting and staring behind the sofa, he asked me O thought that he probably will do what I do and we can chase mouse together. After hearing that my father became furious and immediately remove that piece of cheese and the same time he sealed the hole. Since then we did not see mouse, I only hope that the little mouse made a hole on other side and was able to escape but who knows maybe not. At that stage I did not want imagine any bad end of story and convinced myself that the mouse just moved his house.
