Livestock

Since old time we know if anyone would like to survive he can do it the best on land and not in a city. We need remote place with good productive soil, with juicy grass, there should be some field that would have no shadow and direct sun but also some trees where it would be natural shadow for the domestic animals. Such places are the best for living and for the animals but also for growing own food.

If it would be me I would try to have few minimal for living stuff such as:

  • good field where I would grow wheat, that is necessary for bread and flour that we could make nice and tasty bread for tea of coffee

  • understandably we will need some chicken and chicks. The bird is good to have fresh eggs everyday. We can prepare breakfast with fresh eggs but also to have some chicken for soups or stew.

By the way for stew we will need some vegetables and again those things we can grow on our land: onion, carrots, potatoes, cabbage those few vegetables are enough for delicious meal.

Another livestock that would be good to have on farm or on land is a cow. I remember how my grandmother told me the stories from the war time and one cow was a feeding cow for the whole farm. All the people living on the farm were looking after the cow well so that it could eat and give milk for the people. It is important if you have a cow then you can produce your own milk, butter cheese.

All these small but important livestock will make our live independent from any shops and to produce our own healthy food not only for us but for the whole family.

I am inviting following users for contest: @rumanaafroz, @monz122, @uzma4882
