Working on field and land means not only to plant the plants but we should not forget that there are also some weed. While we prepare the soils with refreshing it, digging through so that soil has enough oxygen but also that the soil is soft and not hard. That usually helps the plants to nicely grow a nd have all necessary nutrients but also water and sun.
On other hand such soil is also good for any weed plants that are easily growing in such good soil. Actually weed grow much faster and spread very quickly. That is why it is easy to fight weed when it is very early and when they are small.
There are few ways how to get rid of weed. One of the commonest is to pull them out of the soil as soon as they just come through soil. Such weed is young and they have such weak and superficial roots. That is why I would suggest to do that every 2-3 weeks, to check you soil and land.
Some fo the wee tend to have long and strong roots, those ones you should dig out carefully so that all root comes out otherwise soon you have the same plant once again.
Hoeing is another way how to fight weed, that means using a hoe or a special garden tool,
that helps to take the top of weed and recommended to do on sunny day that will expose the main stem of the plant to sun and hopefully will dry it up and the plant will die off.
Sometimes it is easy to prevent weed and not fight when they are long. Often using some ground cover and use mulch will be another way to reduce weed and also will help yourselves so that you do not need to work hard every 2-3 weeks and it is easy to recognise weed as they are green colour on brown mulch. Hope that all information will be useful for garden lovers.
