QBD Books, Woden, Canberra

On Tuesday I was at QBD Books which is a major Australian-owned bookstore chain with multiple locations across Canberra. I wanted to buy a fiction related book as I am interested to take part in upcoming SLC 28 with my favorite topic fiction.

I found a right book and I saw this book store offers a large range of titles, special events, and popular educational products especially Australian Geographic.​

This store was originally started as a religious text depot for the Uniting Church in Queensland but later business evolved into a retail bookstore and has changed several hands currently under a private equity consortium since 2016.

QBD Books Canberra, offer click-and-collect services, allowing customers to order online and pick up in-store at their convenience.

 
They also provide customers reserve books or items and pay over time before collecting the purchase.

There standard slogan is "Read more pay less" which is designed to enhance customer convenience and flexibility.

The QBD Books now become a major business in Australia’s book industry, continually expanding and adapting to trends in reading and consumer habits.

The QBD Books which started in the late 18th century is now Australia's largest Australian-owned book retailer, with over 85 stores across the country. The chain has built a strong reputation for affordable prices, loyalty programs, and with a knowledgeable staff.​

QBD holds weekly specials, seasonal catalogues, book clubs, gift guides, and direct buying support to their customers.
