STEEM ATLAS [24 Sep '25] : New Ambassadors, New Developments & 1.7 Million SP

Steem Atlas continues on its upward path.

Users and posts are growing every day, and the @steem-atlas account has now reached over 1.7 M SP.

Development work continues with new features scheduled for release in the next week or so.

And today we are delighted to announce the addition of two new members to our Atlas Ambassador team.

New Ambassadors

The Atlas Ambassadors play a key role in reviewing posts on Steem Atlas.

Over the past couple of months the number of posts has grown significantly.

This has stretched the resources of our Ambassadors so we have decided to enlarge our team to keep up with demand.

Today @kouba01 and @dove11 have joined the Atlas Ambassador team.

Both have a wealth of experience in many curator and teaching roles on Steem, and they are both regular posters on Steem Atlas.

@kouba01 is based in Tunisia, and while there are not so many Steemians in that country, he will be covering the whole of Africa until we recruit Ambassadors in other countries on that continent.

@dove11 is from India, and will shortly be returning there after working in Australia for a while.

India is a strong potential growth area for Steem Atlas so we are happy to have @dove11 covering that country.

As the use of Steem Atlas continues to grow we will gradually add more Ambassadors both in countries with existing Ambassadors and those countries with none.

Heading for 2 Million SP - Delegators Welcome

A key part of the Steem Atlas strategy is to build up our @steem-atlas curation account to allow us to vote for as many posts as possible.

With the help of over 130 delegators the account has now passed through 1 Million SP and currently stands at 1,727,760 SP with a full vote value of $11.68.

This rapid growth is due primarily to the competitive Delegator Reward Rates available for investors in the Steem Atlas project.

The basic reward rate for delegators to @steem-atlas is currently 0.35 STEEM / 1000 SP / day.

For anyone who proxies their witness votes to @steem-atlas we offer the higher rate of 0.45 STEEM / 1000 SP / day.

This represents an APR of 16.43%.

The minimum delegation amount is now only 100 SP to allow smaller investors to take part.

Our next target is 2 Million SP which will give a full vote value of over $13.

We invite everyone who would like to support Steem's fastest growing application, and earn a very attractive return, to delegate to @steem-atlas.

The Steem Atlas Autovoting System

With the growth of the @steem-atlas curation account we are now able to give a worthwhile vote to every valid post on Steem Atlas.

Vote percentages are primarily based on the grades given by our hard working team of Atlas Ambassadors.

The percentages are enhanced for people setting beneficiaries, and further for those giving delegations to @steem-atlas.

The uplifts given scale according to the size of the beneficiaries and the delegations.

Votes are given on posts after they have been reviewed by an Atlas Ambassador.

Unfortunately because of the fast growth in the number of posts, some have been missed in recent weeks.

We hope the addition of two new Ambassadors will help us reach many more posts for curation.

Please note that currently @steem-atlas only votes on one post per author per day.

Developments

The Steem Atlas development team has been working on some back-end improvements recently to ensure the site can perform well with the growing number of users.

The new theme switcher is now available on the main site. You can now chose to view Steem Atlas in the new modern design or the original 'illuminated' style through the cog wheel pop-out on the left.

We are also currently working on adding comments, voting and KeyChain to Steem Atlas.

You can preview these new features as they are being developed on our staging server.
