Steem chat takes very long time before it opens in my phone and that discourages me from using it most times. If there's a way to make it upload faster, it will be very encouraging

There is an app for it. Download Rocket Chat app from playstore/ios store and you can use it with Steem.Chat account details. Might be faster than using your browser.
