Praise is the declaration of the great and powerful works of God. It is expressed by singing, playing musical instrument and giving shouts of joy, as well as by different postures of the body, including clapping, raising the hands and dancing.

The chronicles of King David’s reign relate his relate his extravagant way of praising the Lord. (2 Samuel 6:12-23) the problem with our praises today is that we have not ascended high enough.

Praise is sacrifice

There by him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise of God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name- Hebrew 13:15
The greek word for ‘’sacrifice’’ is thysia, which actually refers to a victim- a killing. Every sacrifice implies death. In the case the victim for the sacrifice is the flesh, or the ego. Praising goes beyond strength, convinces, desire, and comfort.

To praise God, we must kill something ungodly within us, such as apathy, pride, selfishness, worry, fear, bad thoughts or anything else that keeps us from wholeheartedly expressing his greatness.

Our sacrifice releases a movement of the Holy Spirit, who comes to our aid. Then, when the spirit of praise comes praising ceases to be sacrifice, as it was in the beginning, by this time, no one has to force us to praise him; our praise become spontaneous.

Many people prefer to have a man or woman of God lay hands on them for healing or deliverance because they do not want to pay the price of praise and worship of sacrificing the flesh until God touches them. Yet, if we want to live at the forefront of what God is saying and doing, and if we desire to live in constant blessings and to be permanently on fire for Him, the sacrifice of praise should become an intrinsic part of our live style.

When we experience difficult periods in our lives- when life seems full of setbacks, financial troubles or sickness we may not have the desire to praise God. And yet, this is precisely the time when God will ask us to present our sacrifice of praise- the fruit of lips that confess his name (Hebrew 13:15)

I challenge you take a step in your Christian walk and begin to present such sacrifices to praise to your King and Lord.

Worship is more than a declaration; it is a sincere attitude of humility, reverence, respect and fear of the Lord. In our worship, Jesus be crowned. He must occupy the throne of our lives- the Holy of Holies within us. We know that faith is a muscle that grows when exercised. Worship works in a similar way; there is always room to go deeper in it.

Worship may also be expressed by a physical posture, such as bowing the head or body, kneeling or falling prostrate before the Lord. We worship in a sincere and humble way, it becomes something that goes well beyond singing or talking to God- it becomes an attitude that can be expressed even through physical contact with others, such as an embrace, through which we transmit everything that flows out of our relationship of worship with the Father

The level of worship determines the level of revelation and manifestation of the glory of God
People who worship in spirit and truth break through the atmosphere of eternity, where the center of attention is no longer self but God. In his presence, they are not concerned with what they feel or what they are experiencing. They know God requires worship and this conviction surpasses every temporal situation. Worship is not a feeling but an attitude expressed by one who knows that without God he is nothing
Praise is an exuberant, clamorous expression that often includes many words and a physical display. Worship on the other hand involves fewer words- at times, no word are needed at all and there is total silence, because it has more to do with inwardly pouring our hearts before God and asking his sovereign presence to manifest.

From deep worship will come guidance for the future for an individual for the future for an individual, a family, a city or a nation. When you continuously worship the Lord in spirit and in truth you can expect great miracles

May be continually enhance our relationship with God in true praises and worship

faith is a muscle that grows when exercised. Good one friend!

Faith is a booster on our trust in God

Praising God is a normal response to what He has done for us and who He is.

The book of Psalms, the largest book in the Bible with 150 individual psalms, is full of praise to God. In fact, Psalm 150, the last psalm in the book, concludes with the injunction, "Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!" (Psalm 150:6) Psalm 92 begins with the statement, "It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High", saying that it is good to praise.

Thanks for sharing

Warm regards

Psalm 149: It's good to be with you today all day. Psalm 149, as I've said, I want to preach on 'The Power of Praise'. Verse 5 and verse 6 alone: "Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand".
In the Old Testament, several times it was said that God's people were not to appear before Him empty. When the Christian, the New Testament teaches us, approaches God, he likewise is meant to come with an offering. The Christian - that's right, the New Covenant, New Testament believer - is not to come before the Lord empty handed. He is required to bring spiritual gifts, offerings, and sacrifices. Hebrews chapter 13 and verse 15 says as much: 'By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name'. We, as Christians, are to bring the fruit of our lips, praise and thanksgiving, to the Lord.

When we raise our hands in praise, God will always raise us.
God is always happy when we praise Him.

"It is a good thing to give thanks unto God and to sing praises unto thy name oh most high".

When we praise God,we invite God to act on our behalf because we bring down His presence and where his presence is,there is total turn around.

Praise is the declaration of the great and powerful works of God. It is expressed by singing, playing musical instrument and giving shouts of joy, as well as by different postures of the body, including clapping, raising the hands and dancing.
Awesome post
Praising God is the key to every problem

Praise and worship is an act of giving. God doesn't want our money, the only thing we can give to Him is our heart through praise and worship. Many fail to understand this by thinking that praise is a means of entertainment. The loudest and best instrumental praise might is not regarded by God compared to a heart felt praise which is done in a grateful heart.

Praise Honors God!
Praise Undergirds faith!
Praise Brings deliverance!
Praise is the voice of faith!
Praise is the language of heaven!
Praise Sets the stage for God to move!
Praise Releases the angels to minister!
Praise Fuels joy, which is your strength!
Praise Knocks down walls of resistance!
Praise Stills the enemy and the avenger!
Praise Dispels darkness and depression!
Praise Must precede, not follow blessings!
Praise Gives God the legal right to help you! Praise Brings the presence of God onto the scene!
Praise is a sure sign of acceptance of the Word of God!
Praise ls the highway that faith moves its blessings down!
Praise is calling those things that be not as though they were!

Our God is a faithful God that really desire the praise of His people.
We are only doing ourselves good when we praise God and not as if we are helping God.

We move the hands of God when we praise Him and he that move His hands will surely enjoy His backing always.

A heart of praise hardly gets worried or sad. This is because there's this joy that occupies your heart when you praise God with all your heart. Praising God in difficult times shows that you trust God to take care of the situation.

Personally I watch the kinda music I play. Music has a way of influencing our emotions and praising God has a way of lifting our spirit.

This is a nice article.
