The Righteousness of God

God is righteous in His dealings. it is impossible for God to be anything but righteous (1 in. 2:29). God cannot deal with anything that is not righteous. That is why He made it that when‘ you believe in Him, He forgives your sins and
makes you righteous through the Holy Spirit.
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past; through the forbearance of God; To declare, say, at this time his righteousness that he might " be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Rom. 3:21-25
"whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance"

God is always right and perfect and cannot be improved Upon in the slightest. God cannot tolerate anything but perfection. It is for this reason He sent His eternal Son to provide perfect righteousness to those who believe. Everything in the universe was made by God. It is only a fool that will say there is no God [Ps.53:16], Jesus said that God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in truth and in spirit. Therefore, we must be able to worship Him in spirit.
No one can compare what God looks like. He cannot be likened to anything [lsa. 9:40: 8-20. To understand the person of God and His eternity, we have to study the word of God.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, but rightly dividing the word of truth. [II Tim. 2:15]
God is absolutely holy. That is why He cannot tolerate any form of sin. To show His holiness, Priest in the Old Testament had to make sacrifices for cleansing before they whole world.
This was the greatest sacrifice ever possible and showed the extent of God's holiness. The obstacle of sin was removed at the cross once and forever. The holy God, who cannot tolerate the wickedness of sin in any form, provided a perfect solution.
