FAITH IS IN THE NOW!

In the book of Mark 11:22-23, it says;
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.

In recent times I have come to discover that some Christians haven’t been able to distinguish between faith and hope.

Faith is not just to believe God’s Word in the future, faith is in the NOW! The Now word from God to you. Hebrews 11:1 says “Now faith is…” Faith is actually calling real a matter and calling done what you have hoped for to happen! The Bible describes faith perfectly as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). That is why you do not have to see it with your optical eyes first to know it is there for you.

In the Amplified Bible it says, “Faith is the title deed” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is the evidence, and if it is the evidence, then there is something it is representing. For instance, if you had a landed property somewhere , you may not even have been there to see it for yourself, but the legal documents to the land, stating its ownership that are with you is your evidence that the land is yours. You are so sure of that document that you carry; you can even use it as a collateral in the banks. If someone comes and says the land does not belong to you, all you simply do is to pull out your evidence—the title deed.

That evidence is faith, and God’s Word is your evidence that you have what He says you have in the now, and you can do what He says you can do. What hope does is to presents to you a picture of your inheritance in Christ, but faith makes it real to you. It is one thing to look at the picture far away and it is another thing to take possession of it to own it and bring it into the NOW of your life; that is faith! When you pray to God for something, there and then believe that you have that thing and start thanking God for it. Don't wake up tomorrow to start praying to God to give you that same thing. It means you have no faith. Hope says, “It will be mine,” but faith says, “I have it; NOW!” PRAISE GOD!

So today, exercise your faith in God's word. For His thoughts for you are thoughts of good and not of evil to bring you to your desired end. Remember, without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Work your faith by speaking in line with God's word for your life. Hallelujah!

Thank you.

Thank you @sc-n, blessings!

Faith is the life wire of every believer. Without faith, we cannot please God. Without faith, we cannot obtain forgivenness, without faith, we cannot receive from God. Thanks @Gloeze for sharing this.

Thank you so much @uyobong. Faith is also a currency for the child of God.

Great post.

Just to add a comment.

Faith itself is the googles through which we peep into God's will. It does not deny the presence of a problem but declares the possibility of its solution in light of God's will.

It is quite worthy to note that faith is subject to the will of God. If this is not properly understood we may keep professing and yet nothing moves.

We please God with our faith and by it we overcome the world. It sees impossibilities but declares possibilities in light of God's will grafted in His word.

The topic of faith is a broad one. When we ask according to God's will, Jesus said He hears us.

Thank you for that insight @sirpee.

Thank you for un-voting the comment you previously upvoted. You've done well @gloeze

Oh! Sorry, I didn't know it meant that much to you. It was not even up to 0.01
