Don't seek God only when you need to.
This verse is a reminder to return to practices that sometimes get out of hand, such as:
We must always seek the Lord and do so consistently. In this case, it doesn't say, "Seek him once a week, or whenever you have a free moment." God desires that we not disconnect from God, that we seek him in the good and the worst of times. He is always attentive. The idea is that we not only be willing to ask him, but to know him more and more.
Seek the Lord and his power; seek his face continually.
1 Chronicles 16:11
