Our Greatest Weakness can Become Our Greatest Strength
2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
One of the things I love about our God is what is possible in our lives based on faith in the finished Work of Jesus on the cross. Our future is not dictated by today or yesterday. We can live in the New Creation by faith. We put off the old man and put on Christ. What gives God glory is the castaways of the earth. God take the imperfect, the weak, the bound and He shows His glory! Never give up or give in. Get back up each time you fail and make this a day of Faith, not in your own abilities, but in God taking your weakness and mine and making us strong.
Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
In Christ there is always hope and always mercy available to us.
Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
The Apostle Paul said he was never going to boast or brag about his own strengths. His bragging would be about his own weakness and the subsequent Strength of God.
Hallelujah!
