Leviticus 10 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
The Sin of Nadab and Abihu
10 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and put incense thereon; and they offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
2 And fire came out from before the LORD, and burned them, and they died before the LORD.
3 And Moses said unto Aaron, This is what the LORD spake, saying, In them that draw nigh unto me will I be sanctified, and in the presence of all the people will I be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.
The sons of Aaron were male priests of the temple servants of God their work in the temple was unique and many desired to be in that place and serve God with love. Aron showed him by his service to have fear of God but they preferred to sin and play with the presence of God serving in the temple being in the world and God burned them alive for having played with his presence.
There are things that have not changed yet there are people who continue attending church are servants in the ministry but continue playing with the presence of God in the world because God can not abitar in a body that is lukewarm, we are not perfect but every day we seek more to please God with our service caring for the church as a team working in unity and giving love to all those people in the world who are not free and live tied to their sins without being able to be happy.
We are called to bless and give love but in order to be able to transmit love to others we must first be faithful to God's service to be one person in time and in the world because many fall in love with God because of the appearance and change God has made in our lives.
Let us learn to take care of and have zeal for the house of God we are privileged to be in that place because many would like to be, God seeks in his children faithfulness humility grace that all this is reflected in our face when we walk in the world to be the light and preach salvation take advantage of the time we have to be disciples for God.
