SteemChurch: Comfort In Times Of Challenges

The word "challenge" is a general term happening to all mankind including animals (especially the wild lives).

Challenges occur in various forms in human lives. It could be a challenge from one phase to another. But the most important thing is, one must overcome. Yea, I called it a must because Christ overcame and had dominion over every challenges He faced while on earth in flesh (physical form).

This world we live is like a wild forest, containing the children of God being the sheep and the enemies being the wild animals ( lions, tigers, leopards, crocodiles, pythons and so on...)

The predators will want to feed on their preys, thereby bringing challenges to them. But the preys too would not want predators to feed on them, thereby causing commotion between them resulting to challenges for both of them especially the preys

This is what's happening to human lives and merely looking at this in real sense, similar things happens in the wild forest.

As we all know what always happen in the wild forest if we are a fan of NatGeo Wild on Dstv, some preys will struggle with their predators, while some will give up easily. This is exactly what's happening to humans. Some give up easily on challenges because they taught their power is not enough to overcome it. But mind you, **You can do all things in Christ that strengthen you ( Phil 4v13). So therefore, fear not any challenges that comes your way, but always just be at alert to face one.

The pure truth is, this challenges of a thing is bound to happen in human lives and It's inevitable. But one must just take up his/her cross and follow Jesus daily despite the challenges. If you think this isn't right, I tell you this day that you are mistaken. If you are so mindful of something, check yourself out, you would see waking up daily, you will face one challenge or the other ( running after something).

Though, challenges depends. Yours might be minute (easy to tackle), while others might be cumbersome like that of Israelites in the land of Egypt before God saved them.

But to talk more on this topic, Comfort In The Time Of Challenges. What do we need to do when challenges come?

God said in the book of Isaiah 43v1-3 - "But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee"

You destiny is in His hands. He loves you, He know you by name. He knows everything about you and understands the chemical composition of your being.

"fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name, you are mine"

Let's imagine the promises God has given us through Prophet Isaiah. What other prophecy could be greater than this?

There is no emergency before God. He knows all that you are passing through and he has that situation under control.

Jesus Christ prevailed over every challenges of life before all powers In Heavens and on Earth was given to him. So therefore, God want us too to prevail like Christ.

It's not that it's hard for God to take all challenges away, but God just want to see our actions towards it before making a move. God want to see if you are either trying to solve the problems or looking at it. And this is why some stay long in just one problem or challenges they face. They are not taking any decisions or actions( praying, fasting, praising God). So, God too will be looking at them even till the point of death. Not that God is not wicked. All what He wanted is just for you to call Him to your situations and He will definitely rescue you.

God has His sure covenant for us if we call upon Him. Psalms 97:21 "Thou shall increase my greatness and comfort me on every side"

You have the promises of God over you, so you don't have to worry. You only worry yourself because you don't believe the word of God that has been spoken concerning you.

In life, one must stand with God very firmly. And standing with God firmly is standing with the consumable fire that surpasses every other fire that may want to burn you.

Situations in life will sometimes appears to you like fire just to test the fire inside of you. If you are not carrying the fire of God inside you, the fire of life's trouble will consume you completely.

The real fire that can make a mark in situations of life is the one that burns within and without you wherever you go. It make you inconsumable by the situations of life. Nothing moves you because you are a fire that burns.

Remember, no problem last for long if you call upon God about it. You know why it won't last? It's because you've tell it to your farther in Heaven who can solve all things. God said "I know my thoughts toward you, thought of peace and not of evil for you may have an expected end" Jeremiah 29v11.
