SLC31-W6 | THE GREEN JOURNEY | Sustainable Legacy.

Assalamu Alaikum I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah Almighty. Today I am going to participate in the SLC31-W6 | THE GREEN JOURNEY | Sustainable Legacy challenge organized by the Steem Lens community. I sincerely thank the respected @bijoy1 brother for organizing this beautiful and awareness-raising challenge. This challenge is truly a wonderful initiative to highlight the importance of loving nature and doing small responsible things to protect the environment.

There is a small garden on the roof of our house, which is very dear to me. This roof garden is like a piece of peace in the busy city life. There are various types of fruit trees, various flowers and medicinal plants here. I spend some time in this garden every morning or afternoon. Seeing the green leaves, new buds and fruits of the trees makes me feel good. I think that even a small roof garden can make a big contribution to the environment. We have a few lemon and pomegranate trees on this roof garden. Currently, the trees are bearing many green lemons and pomegranates, which looks very beautiful. Seeing the fruit of the tree planted by our own hands really gives a feeling of joy. It not only meets the needs of our family. Rather, it also serves as a symbol of our eco-friendly life. And it also looks beautiful.

Today I did some important maintenance work on my rooftop garden. First, I cleaned around the plants and removed the dry leaves and weeds. Removing the dry leaves and unnecessary grass lying at the base of the plants allows the plants to grow well. Then I checked the condition of the soil in the tub and loosened the soil in some places so that the roots get enough air. This is a small task, but it is an important part of eco-friendly practice. Because regular maintenance of the plants keeps the plants healthy and can provide more oxygen. I also observed the condition of the fruits of the plants. I was especially pleased to see the green fruits of the lemon tree. And some pomegranates are green and some are red in color among the pomegranate trees. These are safe and chemical-free sources of fruits for our home.

Nowadays, environmental pollution, rising temperatures and lack of greenery are a big problem for us. Small eco-friendly works are very important to deal with this problem. A tree not only provides shade, it purifies the air, absorbs carbon dioxide and maintains the balance of the environment. Roof gardens help reduce the temperature around us. It also plays a helpful role in conserving rainwater. Most importantly, it increases our love for nature and teaches future generations to be environmentally conscious. And a unique kind of beauty is created around the roof which makes the mind feel good just by looking at it.

If we take a little time to care for trees every day, don't waste water, reduce the use of plastic and do environmentally friendly things, then big changes will gradually come. I believe that small conscious actions today will help build a beautiful world tomorrow. My rooftop garden always teaches me that if we love nature, nature will love us back. Every new leaf, every new fruit should give us that message.
I really enjoyed working on the rooftop garden today. Taking care of the plants with my own hands, cleaning the dry leaves and watching the fruits grow is a truly soothing experience. These small tasks bring me closer to nature.I think if each of us had a small garden at home, our environment would be much more beautiful and healthier. We all need to work together to build a greener world.
